Steve the optometrist is really friendly and was recommended by my GP when I needed someone to look at a small scratch on my cornea. All of my glasses from here are comfortable and the prescription is just right in my opinion. A great optometrist!

Without doubt the best experience my wife and I have had in such a business yesterday. The manager Stephen is outstanding in knowledge, service, and sales - but sales with the genuine interest of the customer as to what actually looks great, and without suggesting or pushing anything that isn't suitable. The professional optometrist I saw was also right on the ball. They deserve success.

I really like the family type atmosphere that your get at Dickens & Herd. The staff are very courteous and excellent at assisting you in getting a new pair of glasses. The glasses range are all well known brands but also represent value for money. The lenses are top quality. You feel well served after coming here.

Dickens and Herd have always provided excellent service to me and my partner. The glasses are top of the range. I know this because when I consulted another optometry chain I was told that to receive that standard of lens I would have to pay a lot more than advertised. I would highly recommend them. I like the new rooms at Chermside, it has easy parking and the same excellent service.

I saved myself 250 dollars by switching to this optometrists (for the exact frames and equal quality lens elsewhere). Not only that, even though the prescription was the same as my old ones, the vision and lens seems much clearer for some reason. There is absolutely no reflection or glare which is amazing considering the price. When I first called, they immediately offered to hold the frames I wanted till I could come back to the store. They also got my prescription and a quote within five minutes. Then they were very flexible with payment deposits. Finally, the process of making the glasses was so fast. I couldn’t ask for better customer service and value for money.

Dickens & Herd Optometrists once again prove the value of independent Optometrists. Their range of frames is always outstanding. They have the usual current trending styles, but always have something quirky or out of the ordinary, which is what I look for. Their eye testing is extremely thorough and they are always happy to discuss your vision options. Even though I no longer live or work in the area, I find it worth my while to keep returning for their excellent service and range.
