The most professional and knowledgeable optometrist we have been to. My entire family goes to Steve and he always takes really good care of all of us - he really knows what is best for his clients. I highly recommend Steve if you are looking for an excellent optometrist.

Really happy with my experience here. The staff were really enthusiastic and answered all my questions. They carry the Moscot brand which I love, and the turn around on prescription was super quick.

I saved myself 250 dollars by switching to this optometrists (for the exact frames and equal quality lens elsewhere). Not only that, even though the prescription was the same as my old ones, the vision and lens seems much clearer for some reason. There is absolutely no reflection or glare which is amazing considering the price. When I first called, they immediately offered to hold the frames I wanted till I could come back to the store. They also got my prescription and a quote within five minutes. Then they were very flexible with payment deposits. Finally, the process of making the glasses was so fast. I couldn’t ask for better customer service and value for money.

I have been attending this practice for around 55 years. It is as great as when I first found what was then Fraser edmiston. It's moved position, and optometrists have retired, though only after many years service. The attention & friendliness & recognition has remained. I always feel welcome!

Dickens & Herd Optometrists once again prove the value of independent Optometrists. Their range of frames is always outstanding. They have the usual current trending styles, but always have something quirky or out of the ordinary, which is what I look for. Their eye testing is extremely thorough and they are always happy to discuss your vision options. Even though I no longer live or work in the area, I find it worth my while to keep returning for their excellent service and range.

The gorgeous young lady, Megan, who attended to me was the epitome of professionalism. Extremely competent and knowledgeable - she had all the answers. 11 out of 10. Great work !!!! It was indeed my pleasure to have her as the optician.

Got my first pair of glasses. So far beyond expectations words can't describe. Amazing crystal clear lenses and great quality frame. Can't wait untill I'm back in town to spend more money there.

Dickens and Herd Optometrists are outstanding. The team are professional welcoming and genuinely thorough taking the time to explain everything clearly without rushing. The care feels personalised and the service is exceptional from start to finish. Easily one of the best optometry experiences in Brisbane and highly recommended.

Megan is the best Optometrist I have ever seen. She went above and beyond. She performed all the necessary tests to make sure your eyes are healthy and took her time to explain everything as well. I've always went to specsavers thinking nothing of it. Let me tell you my visit here changed my views of eye check ups. I will never go back to specsavers.
